The Hydra Language School is a private school for the instruction of foreign languages on the island of Hydra in Greece. It employs 8 teachers and has about 170 students. In September 2008 we celebrated the opening of our new space. The building, consists of 5 classrooms, a computer lab and a large indoor space for school events and various activities.
Angeliki Stroumbouli was born and raised in Hydra. In 1998 she undertook the management of The Hydra Language School. She has been a 50% partner in The Hydra Language School and Hydragogy since 2006.
Sotiris Iliadis was born and raised in Athens. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City University in London. He lives permanently in Hydra where he has been teaching English since 2002. He has been a 50% partner in The Hydra Language School and Hydragogy since 2006.
